Polished Surfaces with Depth and Light

Venetian plaster creates a smooth, refined surface with subtle depth and a natural stone-like appearance. As light moves across it, the finish reveals variation and softness beneath a polished exterior.

We apply Venetian plaster using controlled, multi-layer techniques to achieve a surface that feels elegant, balanced, and timeless.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had the Picture Perfect team paint our entire newly built home, from the basement to the top floor, including all rooms, doors, and exterior work. The team was professional, easy to communicate with, and delivered excellent results. We later hired them again to stain our fence and deck and were equally pleased. We rarely leave reviews, but they earned this one. Highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Picture Perfect did some work for us recently and it was a fantastic experience. Alex responded very quickly to our request to come look at what could be done to our basement to fix some damage to the ceiling and walls. He asked about our timelines and what ideally worked for us, and within a week we had some at the house. The consultation was super helpful to determine what needed to be done, excellent suggestions were made and taken. The work was prompt, professional and pleasant! We are really happy with the results, and the rates were very fair and reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend them and will use this company again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best painting company in Toronto! From start to finish so communicative and always thinking ahead of us. We did a retrofit on our house, so we had many moving parts to our project, but Picture Perfect made us feel well taken care of from the beginning. We were assigned an amazing project manager who came to the job site many times. She was so organized and ran a lovely team. All the painters were very experienced and a pleasure to have working in our home. Cannot recommend Picture Perfect Painters enough.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Alex and his team are very professional and obviously care about the work they do and the people they serve. The team who painted our exterior trim were respectful and knowledgable. All the most dangerous parts of the job were approached very cautiously and I noticed Alex himself seemed to appear magically just before those for one last strategy talk. Office staff were great with communication as well. Thank you all so much!

What This Service Is

Venetian plaster is a mineral-based finish applied in thin layers and refined to a smooth or polished surface.

Unlike textured plasters:

This Includes

the surface is smooth to the touch

depth is created through layering, not heavy texture

the finish can range from soft matte to highly polished

This makes it ideal for spaces where the goal is refinement, light reflection, and architectural clarity.

Who This Is For

Homeowners

A way to introduce a clean, elevated finish that feels luxurious without being overly decorative.

Designers

A material-driven surface that adds depth and light while maintaining a refined and cohesive interior palette.

The Challenge

Venetian plaster requires precision at every stage.

surfaces can appear uneven or cloudy.

polishing may be inconsistent.

transitions between areas may be visible.

the finish can lose its clarity and depth.

Achieving the right result requires control, patience, and a deep understanding of the material.

Our Approach

We approach Venetian plaster as a refined, multi-layer finishing system.

This ensures a finish that feels clean, balanced, and architecturally precise.

surfaces are prepared to a smooth, stable base

thin layers are applied progressively to build depth

each layer is compressed and refined for consistency

polishing is controlled to achieve the desired level of sheen

surfaces are reviewed to ensure continuity across the space
