Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had the Picture Perfect team paint our entire newly built home, from the basement to the top floor, including all rooms, doors, and exterior work. The team was professional, easy to communicate with, and delivered excellent results. We later hired them again to stain our fence and deck and were equally pleased. We rarely leave reviews, but they earned this one. Highly recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Picture Perfect did some work for us recently and it was a fantastic experience. Alex responded very quickly to our request to come look at what could be done to our basement to fix some damage to the ceiling and walls. He asked about our timelines and what ideally worked for us, and within a week we had some at the house. The consultation was super helpful to determine what needed to be done, excellent suggestions were made and taken. The work was prompt, professional and pleasant! We are really happy with the results, and the rates were very fair and reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend them and will use this company again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best painting company in Toronto! From start to finish so communicative and always thinking ahead of us. We did a retrofit on our house, so we had many moving parts to our project, but Picture Perfect made us feel well taken care of from the beginning. We were assigned an amazing project manager who came to the job site many times. She was so organized and ran a lovely team. All the painters were very experienced and a pleasure to have working in our home. Cannot recommend Picture Perfect Painters enough.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Alex and his team are very professional and obviously care about the work they do and the people they serve. The team who painted our exterior trim were respectful and knowledgable. All the most dangerous parts of the job were approached very cautiously and I noticed Alex himself seemed to appear magically just before those for one last strategy talk. Office staff were great with communication as well. Thank you all so much!

What This Service Is

Lime wash paint is a mineral-based coating that creates a breathable, matte finish with gentle tonal variation.

Unlike standard paint:

This Includes

colour is not flat or uniform

movement is created through layered application

the finish feels soft, natural, and organic

This type of finish is ideal for spaces where the goal is calm, understated depth rather than bold texture.

Who This Is For

Homeowners

A way to introduce warmth and softness into your space with a finish that feels natural and timeless.

Designers

A refined material that adds depth without visual noise, supporting a layered and cohesive interior.

The Challenge

Lime wash requires a careful and controlled application. Without the right technique:

movement can appear uneven or patchy.

colour variation may feel inconsistent.

the finish can lose its softness and balance.

surfaces may appear overworked.

Achieving the right result depends on layering, restraint, and consistency.

Our Approach

We approach lime wash as a layered finishing process.

Surfaces are prepared to a smooth, absorbent base that supports even uptake.

Sample areas are created to confirm tone and movement before full application.

Lime wash is applied in controlled, brush-based
layers.

Each layer is developed to build soft variation
across the wall.

Surfaces are refined to maintain balance and
cohesion across the room.

Scope of Work
